nexus 35 plasma

Just been offered a nexus 35 plasma,from a mate he is giving up his workshop and has only had the machine about 12 months, does any one know if they are good bad or indiferent.
he got it from Boc, swines keeping his ceebora.
I will be using it on stainless..up to 3mm, and rarely on mild steel to say 10mm tops cheers

not sure about the plasmas, but at our college we have the nexus inverter dc machines in the bays, theyre used near enough all day everyday from people who cant weld to poeple who, er, can!, so they are tough little machines, they sell them in leengate, but im sure i remember someone saying something about lincoln made or lincoln parts?, dont quote me on that though, ill probably get told off!,
buy aye, like i said, not sure about the plasmas but the mma's are good

thanks, i use a lincoln tig machine and a portamig, i am self employed and the way the economy is at the mo cant risk shelling out for new, dont want to entertain the ebay jobs..would rather do without!!

Leengate sell Nexus equipment and a lot of it is German made. They are part of the Linde BOC group now but their outlets seem to have more independence than the BOC ones. If you look at Erfi made machines you may find something similar and it is excellent quality.

thanks for the replies, i do have a trade account with Boc, the local shop manager is going hell for leather to get me to buy new ..lol,think i will get the one from my mate
