Now that the Citroen XM is repaired it's now turn for the other car to have some welding.
This is a Rover 216 GTi 130 bhp twincam and despite being superb to drive and 100 percent reliable since I got it back in 2001, the tin worm has started to munch on part of the rear arches and rear of sill under the 'spats'. The last few winters have not been kind. Could be a bit tricky as body panels for these are now hard to find and despite searching Ebay, Hadrians and many others, the only place selling arches and rear quarters are Moss and they're only getting rid of rear quarter for the Tomcat coupe or the convertible. Might be a case of adapting or making from scratch - which is something I've never done.
