Good morning everyone

I have been a member for a little while now, mainly just reading advice and looking at people's projects.

Ive recently got myself a parweld xtt202 for a bit of tig fun, I've been using an Rtech180 mig for quite some time so while welding isn't new to me (classic car bodywork) Tig is. (not forgetting the night class several years ago)

My plan is to learn Tig for a bit of bodywork and some fab work on a Triton motorcycle project that I've been working on for far too long...

Anyway, I'm sure you'll see some new posts from me at sometime in the future as I try to get to grips with the new to me welder. But for now here's a couple of pics of where I'm currently up to:
35amps 1.6 blue tungsten

Edit: forgot to mention I'm based near Arbroath in Sunny Scotland

That looks great. All the proportions look just right . I’m very slowly rebuilding an 88 engine. On a very steep but extremely engaging and enjoyable learning curve

Welcome to the best forum around. Having had a MIG and a TIG machine for several years I much prefer using the TIG for it's finer control rather than just point and squirt.

Classic cars and a Triton - both favourites of mine

Regular updates on both please (my Triton is progressing very slowly but it's all progress), classic cars are a constant battle but it keeps me out of mischief most of the time
