Newbie with SIP question

Hi all, I've been offered the chance of a welder (very cheap) but theres a problem with it.
The welder is a SIP Migmate 100amp(I think!)
It is red and grey in colour (If that helps)

Apparently it keeps blowing the 13amp fuse in the plug when you go to weld with it.

Does anyone have any ideas if it is repairable?

I appreciate that I haven't given much info, but any help would be welcome.

SIPs are throw-away machines. Not worth the effort.

I had that happening on mine - It was a blown diode in the rectifier. Avoid the thing - it'll be a hassle.

The red panelled SIP Migmates are very old models & replacement parts may not now be available.
