Newbie questions

Hey guys
Ok few questions about my welder. Its a PitBull Mig-100 gasless. Anyone heard of this as far as quality goes? I know it won't be that good because I bought cheap. (16, No job but I saved for ever to get my self a welder and its all I could afford at the time). And heres the newbie question, it has an on off switch and wire feed control nothing else. So I am assuming when I use your calculator I put a 1 in the # of power setting?

If there is no power adjustment then put 1 into the calculator, and minimum and maximum of whatever the amps are (100 might be the model name not the amps). If it is 100 amps the calculator will come up with about 2mm sheet.

You can get more adjustment out of it by messing around with technique. make the edges of steel into a V shape and you should be good for 3mm sheet, and the thin metal technique might get you down as far as 1.2mm once you get the hang of it. Best to start off practicing on 1.5 to 2mm sheet until you get the hang of it.
