Hi guys
I've been doing some welds on an old land rover for the brother in law and last weekend it was pretty much perfect welds this weekend I got a few good ones then it started to spit and pop then I'd adjust it and after a couple of seconds would play up again got the wire speed down to about 2 then it was ok for a while then played up again.
I'm welding 1.2mm steel and at the time it was new to new so not a dirty earth I don't think, I keep the earth as close to the weld as possible.
The machine is a clarke 100en with gas conversion. Using .8mm wire.
Hope some one can help
Cheers Dan
Few pics for you criticism lol
