Just bought a sealey supermig 185 to use for car repair work.
It does have .8 wire where .6 would be better so I understand?
It also has a half bottle of pub gas which I haven't used before (only had very little experience with a murex tradesmig using .6 wire and argoshield).
The main problem is the weld spatters a LOT - I turned the cfm up to just over 10 which helped but it still doesn't like to do a decent run - got the power on 1 (out of 8 I think) and the wire on 2 (out of 10 I think)...
Now my main question (bear with me!) - after a bit of use the regulator gets very wet - is this it leaking? I did redo the end of the pipe as it was loose and this seemed to help.
Just trying to make sure the welder is working ok first and foremost - there will be some example pics up when I find my camera!
