Anyone had experience of these machines

What's made you go towards the oerlikon. Good brand from what I know of them. More famous for there consumables but they have a massive portfolio from stick electrodes to massive column and booms (air liquide).

I'm guessing the fact there is / was one on ebay at a nice price.... was considering it myself

If your working with it on cars then it's important it has the capability of going low on the amperage.
Any higher than 30 amps minimum might be a struggle for thin body panels.
