Fairly easy I think mate, my next door neighbor done it last summer. Said it was a doddleHi All, think I may have sorted a van out. High top transit connect double sliding doors. It has solid rear barn doors, I want to put windows in them. Question, how hard is it to do?
I put a set in for a friend years ago , but they were side windows , they came as a kit to convert a van into a camper van , available in clear or tinted glass too .I've been searching on line, But I'm just coming up with window tints.
good call, I've got the scrap man coming tomorrow, I'll ask himIve seen them as a kit ,,, or could you rob them from a scrapy ard van ? Or get the local plant glass boys to glaze you some in ,, lots of potions , shouldnt be tricky at all.
I think the older type, with the rubber surround.Do you want the flush bonded windows or older styled framed opening ones?
Bonded are much easier to fit.I think the older type, with the rubber surround.
easier the better for me.Bonded are much easier to fit.
but harder to take out of a scrap one than rubber surrounded ones.Bonded are much easier to fit.
Iv done it once with my ex bossbut harder to take out of a scrap one than rubber surrounded ones.
You will be able to get these out of an older can really easy and a piece of cake to fitI think the older type, with the rubber surround.

If you drill the rivets out and then pull the window outyes they could, you need even pressure to push from the inside thoughWould the rubber type not be easy for a thief to remove to get into the van?
A mate got a window fitted to his camper conversion. He got it from a local firm who do car windscreens, etc. They fitted it for only a few ££ extra, very well done too!
