I resisted for so long, what a fool they are brilliant. The eye opener is a cordless jigsaw. Cable is always in the way on those.
OK Guys, On the Theme of new Toys, I was looking at the 18V Jigsaws and wondered what was the Difference between Bow Handle and Barrel Grip models ?

When I started as a chippie 20 years back the battery tech wasn't there. So I didn't invest too heavily in cordless. The eye opener is a cordless jigsaw. Cable is always in the way on those.
Thanks, I'm leaning toward the Bow Handle tbhSimply the way you hold them. It's preference more than owt. Barrel type are easier to hold if you're cutting from the underside though. I have a 12V barrel type, but I think with 18V, I'd likely stick with D handle.
