Most manufacturers now are doing a cordless tct saw for cold cutting metals.

Saw one the other day and it's quite impressive.

OK Guys, On the Theme of new Toys, I was looking at the 18V Jigsaws and wondered what was the Difference between Bow Handle and Barrel Grip models ?

Simply the way you hold them. It's preference more than owt. Barrel type are easier to hold if you're cutting from the underside though. I have a 12V barrel type, but I think with 18V, I'd likely stick with D handle.

When I started as a chippie 20 years back the battery tech wasn't there. So I didn't invest too heavily in cordless.

These days I have very little corded. Even my 305mm mitre saw runs battery's and mains.
