I am about to buy a welder to get started with. Plan to do a car restore. I am looking at a Clarke 135T or 160TM. Is there a big advantage to the 160TM?
Also will I be able to get some practice in with the small gas cylinders? 135T seems to come with a regulator for the small 600g cylinders and the 160TM needs the big cylinders? Am I reading this correctly?
Also I plan to work up to a fairly big car restore and my reading of the posts here is that CO2/Argon is the way to go for car restores?
Lots to think about.
