New to welding, where to get a bottle for hobby welder-worcestershire?
I've got a second hand Clarke 150TE to use for some welding work on my Range Rover Classic but it only came with one of those disposable small bottles.
I have a fair bit of welding to do + I need to practise weld as I'm new at it so guessing this disposable won't last long & believe they are expensive.
What is my best option when it comes to gas? I don't want to have rental costs if I can avoid them as I won't be welding regular.
I've done a bit of research & found that people do have problems getting old bottles refilled etc. What do the hobby welders that only do a bit of welding here & there do?
Also what gas should I use or what is easiest to get hold of? I've heard people talking about pub bottles which are co2 am I right? If so how do you get these filled if you don't have a local landlord that will help?
