As per title, looking to move up in the world of tig machines and within my budget these two seem to fit the bill. Im not sure of the age of the Kempo but its from a local dealer so presumably it will come with some guarantee.
The Techarc (Tectig/MTA) looks interesting with 2 year guarantee and a 5yr on the transformer plus its uk made. Cost wise, theres ****** all in it when adding in a foot switch so its down to forum members experience
....which one should i go for? Im only a casual hobbyist, so the machine will definitely get an easy life. Also, I'll be using it on a 40A single phase supply. I know somebody will suggest an inverter machine but tbh, i would be happier with a tranny based rig.
