Maverick Television are casting for teams of 4, for a new SKY1 engineering based series. If you can design, build and operate a machine / vehicle over challenging terrain / obstacles, and are UK BASED AND OVER 18 – all the details and applications are available on email from j.evans@mavericktv.co.uk – but you need to get in touch ASAP.
Each episode, 2 teams will receive their challenge brief and cash from us. They then have 2 weeks to source parts and materials for their design.
Your unfinished machine will then be brought to our build location, where you have 48 hours to build! We will supply all the tools and machinery you will need.
Then on challenge day, it’s a timed individual teams race around our purpose built course. It could be racing an amphibious vehicle from land onto sea, or firing from a self built trebuchet to pick up clues to the combination of the safe… challenges change with each episode.
The fastest team to make it round the course will then have a certain amount of time to reach the safe and crack the code – winning the cash prize inside! But can you get there in time?!
