I don’t get cold calls more than once or twice a year max, and usually from Carphone whorehouse, some squeaky filipina girl being super nice and friendly.
All the other calls are scam dead end calls that ring once, enticing me to phone back and discover what important call I just missed….

I've recently had a spate of "your IP address is been used by others" which I will sometimes string along, it's normally when I say "I'm a pensioner, what's a computer" they put the phone down

The windows guy stopped phoning me....he used to call quite often and say "theres a problem with your windows".

I'd then proceed to talk him thro the process of opening and closing the living room windows...."but they're working fine"...I figured if I could string him out for a good amount of time it would save someone else from getting scammed
