It's a shame losing all these historic pub's.
I been in there drinking - shut in about 1996.
Building is now multi multi occupancy dwelling for DHSS type people.

Just a heads up that it's car stuff at Lidl soon. Might be next week or the week after.

Might think about the £30 creeper and stool combo. Don't bother with a rotary polisher, they are pants whatever the brand. Cheap da polisher from Argos is far better.
The "aluminium Zinc" spray is really rather good.Just a heads up that it's car stuff at Lidl soon. Might be next week or the week after.
Yes, I've tried the zinc spray and thought it was quite good. So is the straight to metal aerosols. Shame they are now a fiver when they were £3 ish a few years ago.
We don't seem to get the pro range much in our local Lidls. Bought the angle thing for screwdrivers the other day. Didn't buy the flexible one but wish I had as they were only a fiver. Kind of thing you might not use much but really handy at times.
I just got this Parkside Performance drill in the post today. £59 on ebay it was brand new sealed in its carry case still. Private seller from Belfast.
Very impressive drill. Nice ergonomics and very powerful. The chuck is also 13mm and high quality all steel construction. I think this is fixing to be the nicest drill I've ever used and I have Dewalt & Milwaukee cordless drills already.

It was just the bare drill I bought the battery & charger separately.
I will be watching out for Lidl performance stuff from now on. Doesn't seem to come around often though.
I will use this drill for a couple weeks and report back on thoughts for anyone curious.
