I have tried to weld once in my life, and I very much want to learn more. Yesterday my father in-law gave me a 240 volt Parva Mig welder, he had on his attic. He had got it for free, but he never used it.
After a cleaning the welder looks as new.
I now need a users guide to learn how many amps the welder works with and to learn more about the symbols and scales on the welders. Does anyone know, where I can find such?
I suppose that the scale to the left adjusts the wire feed speed and that the four symbols in the middle indicates different thicknesses of the material to weld. The wire is approximately 0,2 mm in diameter, and I have read about zig-zag welding and much more in the MIG tutorial. But there are only four different settings and I don’t know where and how to start.
The text in the buttom right corner of the front says: “Cemacs Welding Division Italiana”. Beside the name is that all I know.
I live in Denmark and my English may be a little poor, but if anyone knows the welder and can help, I will be happy – and maybe a little wiser.
Best wishes
Karsten
