New NIC-EIC certificate software!!!

Anyone else use this?
They've just enforced a migration to a new system and it's absolutely screwed us up.
It just takes 4 times as long to do anything with no improvements at all!
A certificate that should have taken me about an hour max to complete has taken me all morning so far! It's unbelievable.
Rant over just started.

It's not domestic. Some of my jobs have 60+ dist boards.
It's going to fxxk us right up as clients will be screaming for paperwork we now can't process in anywhere near the time we used to.

Is there a pompous rep in your area you can contact, get them to show you “how” to do it.

add the extra time to the bill there isnt a fixed price for a test .you can charge what you like

Nope. As far as I can see there isn't "a way to do it" that won't take hours longer than it used to.

Unfortunately the bill is already priced and we can't just wack a load more money on top, were already under pressure from the likes of subbie bashing companies like Mace moving the goal posts every other month causing us more work and/or BS procedures and hoops to jump through.


I also know that there's other way better software out there that would have beaten the old NIC version hands down and that was before this disaster.

It's taken me all day to do a re-write of an existing cert and a small new one that would have taken me an hour and a half max before.

I told them 5 years ago it was sheit and got told well that's what we've always used!

No, but I've heard its a shower of poo. Also heard something about passwords not working.
A lot of the certification stuff is rubbish.
