its about time they got it sorted6 points a go and a decent fine will help. new drivers under 2years will have to take a re test so the smart asses will be laughing on the other side of there face if caught

I watched a woman recently, losing control of her jeep at a junction, mounting the footpath and colliding with a fence on a bridge, all the while ..................yapping into her mobile. You can get cheap bluetooth hands free kits now, even aldi and lidl do them, no excuse.

Rules and fines are a waste of time if nobody enforces them, it was mentioned on the radio this morning about an RAC survey and a massive jump in the amount of people admitting to using a phone and driving in the last few years, maybe that's because the chances of getting caught are pretty slim.

My daily drive to work and back is 40 miles, every day some cars go screaming past me and I'm sitting at 60, I regularly see drivers on the phone and duff headlights are common.

what irritates me is drivers of new cars that HAVE BLUETOOTH as standard and still have the handset glued to there head!!!!
i totally agree there really isn't any excuse for it nowadays, even my 26year old vw has a cheap bluetooth headunit i installed 10 years ago i think i paid £60 for
