Whats up peoples?? I guess u can say im kinda new to gasless fluxcore welding?? Years ago i worked in a metal shop so not totally new to welding. But compaired to stick welding learned as a kid,and them nice big industrial argon gas welders i was used to in the shop, this lil mig 130 flux core welder, paper says its a wolf weld mig welder,CE Stark written on the side?? This thing seems to have potential but figuring out how to set it up for what i need to do,without full info on what the switches do is frustrating. I got it to finally run ok beads on a flat surface of not too thick steel finally with no burn thru. But im nervous about trying to weld my air bag suspension brackets on my truck cuz 1 its important to get it right first try,and 2 the brackets are thicker than what i have to practice on?? Brackets are 5mm thick, the upper one i have to drill holes in the front a arms and bolt the top bag bracket on after welding it. Can anyone help me out?? I really need to know the settings meanings on the welder. It has a switch 1 and 2,and a second switch min and max, then the wire speed dial. I got a good bead set on 1,min,and wire speed at the slowest. Had to change wire and angle to not get bird poop, and burn thru? I really need some encouraging words to get me confident to do these brackets. Using .035 or .030 wire currently. Its what my club buddy advised me to use. Thanks.
