I've got a new Clarke MIG 160TM welder and I'm also new to welding unfortunately while grinding the grinder slip from my hands fall on the floor and cut through the welder earth cable exposing the wires. I ordered new cable but its connected by some sort of crimp anybody knows how to change it? Can I replace it with some sort of connector? or does the earth cable comes with a connector? Surely the Clarke company must know it's not easy too change the cable with the crimp they use.
