New design coffee trike

For those that have seen my previous posts i have had a few jobs in the past building coffee trikes but this is a new design and in my opinion a much better model. I wouldnt mind importing some trikes myself and make a living making these as i know how much they go for but i wouldnt even know where to start on that front!! Any way, here are a few pics from start to finish


The frame is at the rear on this model




The bed that came with the bike was bent so was difficult to make the frame square











The black panels are exterior ply that i painted with blackboard paint so they can be used as a 'menu'

Thats a nice sized box on the back, no reason why you can't have a hot water Urn, a bain marie and do Hot Dogs

Thanks for the comments.

Some of the jobs I've built were for hotdogs, some have been for crapes and some for I've creams, all very similar designs just altered slightly for their use.

Looks interesting.
As a bike nerd I am interested in the back axle and brakes.
Do you have a differential or direct drive to one or both wheels.
If you can buy this in as a basic platform, ie chassis and steering, seat etc it could be a massively versatile vehicle. Maybe a proper commercial proposition.

Hi Chunko,

The rear axle has a differential on it, it's quite a good little bike. It has hydraulic rear disc brakes too. The bike came to me as it is in the first picture with the bed on the rear. The customer I built it for got it off a guy in Bolton who imports them from china, it cost him £1500 but would get it cheaper if he had if imported it himself. I am in the process of looking into importing some bikes myself as I build quite a few for people but now want to build them for myself. These bikes could be used for all sorts as you say, and that is what I want to try and exploit.
