Just purchased a Clarke 160EN mig. Took it out of the box wired it to my old Lincoln buzz box plug, set up the system fed the wire and went to strike an arc and nothing just wire coming out. Apparently Clarke is out of business. Website is shut down and phones are all shut off. I even called the Canada phone and it put me to a message hotline.
Any reason why the transformer will not kick in? it will hum slightly for a second than nothing.
