New boiler warranties

Very well made and also interface with Honeywell wifi controllers. No diverter to go wrong, virtually unblockable DHW heat exchanger and efficient in DHW mode too (i.e. run in condensing mode), which most boilers still do not do.

we've got a Worcester boiler 24i.
had it for 20 years and only found out that's it only suitable for a 2 bedroom house and ours is 3.
still working OK but it getting a little tired now. it seem to empty 2 gallon of water before it gets warm.
on full flow its luke warm so by turn the tap down it does get hotter.
if I use the water upstairs getting wash and our lass is washing the dishes the water goes cold down stairs.
this pass 5 years things have started to go wrong ..new circuit board, pressure switch,fan,pressure relief valve.
losing a little water every other month but can't find a leak.easy fix jut top up.
just had quote for around 2 grand for green star CDI compact this inc fitting and magnaclean.
just waiting for a proper quote. not sure if this is a good price or not.
if I bought a Baxi that would save us £500 over the worcester.

We have the same boiler, it's had some issues over the years, but in general it's been great, it did the pressure leaking bit and needed the pressure vessel replaced,

I plan on getting a Baxi fitted, the duo tec 33, with magnaclean, quote was £1700, should be done within the next month

worcester bosch 32 cdi inc fitting magnaclean £20148 inc vat. 10 years warranty /mechanical clock to digital worcester version.

not sure about ideal never heard of them till now.
between the 2the ideal is saving £455 & £599 quite a bit of savings.
that saving could go toward the new kitchen.
the two I'm considering is the 1st 2 not bothered about digi clock.
so I'm asking you fellas for advise which should I go for?

Whilst I appreciate at face value the ideal saves £455 and £599 but in terms of weekly cost with warranty backup the 10 year warranty one is the cheapest.

My thoughts entirely, and the reason we went with a worcester digital time clock thingy, for the extra £144 it's another 2 year warranty, so £74 a year, at that age is pretty good value to my mind.

Personally prefer the digital programmers...not least as there's no mechanical "ticking"

and they are half the price of a mechanical one and fit on a standard back plate for most makes without altering the wiring
