Thermal Arc Fabricator 250 Compact Mig Welder

The Fabricator 250 Compact is a multi-voltage, single phase high output and high duty cycle DC Power Source. This unit is the ideal choice for single phase use for light and medium fabrication and heavier maintenance applications. The 250 provides excellent arc characteristics with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) with or without gas. This model has 16 step voltage selection, overload protection, trigger latching facility, weld setting selection chart and adjustable burnback control.

Try Lorch
we've got the 250 amp one in school and its great
synergic welder i think is what you call it you put the thickness of the steel you want to weld in and it sets it up itself its a great welder it'll lay a very nice bead easily exellent quality ,big wire feed motor
strong case easy to wheel around
when i'll be wanting a welder it definately price a lorch up

As cazl says, maybe have a look at a lorch m-pro 252. I think it's a similar sort of price range.
I've been using one for a while and it's easy to set up and puts down some nice welds.

I have a thermal arc 180a and its not in the same league as the lorch 252,,,,i was very impressed

Plenty to choose from, but check your supply side of things first You'll be needing a minimum of 25 amps, preferably 32 amps; if you have a larger supply the world's your lobster! - up to 400 Amps single phase.
