picking up a rescue lurcher pup on weds.
were all like little kids here at mo, went to look at it today and talk to fosterer.
woman from centre as just rung to say we can do paperwork on weds then bring him home.

we had to put our last dog down 2yrs ago this christmas due to cancer and now feels right time to get another.

Have 3 at present the forth 20 years old went for a walk 9 months ago & did not come home, he was a real one off, went to church Sunday evenings, day centre on Monday lunch time, gardening club in church hall on Fridays, loved children all 5 of us walked about 3/4 mile every day around the fields at back of house, each would come to a particular whistle, we still looking for the old boy loved toast & Marmite.
We just found out the newest one a girl likes meat & potato pies well I thought it was funny her indoors was none to pleased.

He's beautiful!!
Looks very much like one we had a few years ago, we had him at 5 months old and lost him at 13.
We got two together, him and a tan one who was 3 when we got him and 18 when we lost him!!
We currently have a completely batty rescue greyhound and an incredibly gentle staffy X, both from Bath cats and dogs home.
All 6 dogs we've owned have been rescue ones, either from homes or from friends of friends. Never had a bad one.

Our Labrador just makes do with anything within reach, It's hilarious watching the wife and daughter chasing it round the garden trying to retrieve bits of underwear nicked from the ironing pile
