Needle descaling gun ?

Having borrowed a large air powered one a few years ago,I found it useful,but wondering if there’s a smaller version particularly for de spattering.

Needle guns or (scatter scaler) have their uses mainly on crusty scabby rust, wouldn't imagine being much use on spatter, welding slag removal would be ok,

Unsure of the size of the one you borrowed, but the Sealey one is a damned good tool.

Model no AS51 about 120 quid.

The Kobe NS4030 from Zoro is a nice small needle gun.

I watch I C Weld on YouTube and he uses a needle gun quite a bit to remove slag from welds

The needle guns are based on the standard air chisel. Some of the manufacturers sell conversion kits to change your chisel into a scaler, so that might be an option if you already have the chisel.

Aldi sometimes have one in the special buys. Basically an air chisel with an adaptor. They are what they are, but for £20 or so I find them really useful.
