needing to drill a hole

What u was thinking was a getting a piece of brass turned that was 17mm in diameter at one end to fit into the crank and a 21mm hole at the other end to fit the spigot bearing into and modify the input shaft to suit, do you guys think that wouled work?

I don't see why you need a rebuild just to remove the crank.... turn it upside down and take the bottom end off.....???? only need sump and crank seals ?

rebuild as in putting it back together not reconditioning.

even rebuild you don't need to remove top end unless it already needs work
