need to fix my welder

hi new here now going to get model numbers etc for you

done a few quick welds and didnt have a tip on today so melted the end of the torch! doh

also having problems with the connectors that helds the torch and gas liners in place , they are like metal clips and keep coming out , not even sure if lost a few now as have popped out so many times !

so ideally , im looking to replace either the whole torch or to replace the swan neck , and get some fittings that would hold the liners in

Without meaning to sound harsh, looking at the damage and the amount of work it needs, I wouldn't bother spending money on it.
My advice is chuck it on ebay as 'spares or repairs' and treat yourself to another.

I tend to agree, even if you manage to get the parts you 'think' will put it right it will be costly and may then prove it needs more repairs...looks like a well abused set.

Sometimes you can have a crazy bidding war on Ebay and get a lot more than expected, have seen some rubbish fetch daft prices

its been a good little welder i only paid £10 for it had it for about a year only used a few times , just seems a shame that not able to fix it up , and its not a case of " treat myself" as dont have the money for a new welder lol

The parts you need to get that machine back up and running will set you back a fair bit unless you can find a donor machine.
I'm pretty sure it's a rebadged Sealey Mightymig 100 which might help you get a second hand torch.

Try not to limit yourself to gasless, it's ok but gas is nicer to use and yes understand about the budget...been there and got the T shirt etc...the thing is with a decent welder thats working well, plus the addition of gas you will enjoy the hobby a lot moreand should produce much better results.

Have seen some nice 2nd hand Clarkes go for less than £100
