Need to buy a work platform

you know the sort of thing, longish platform to work off, lean down over when using it as a workbench and walk into when carrying something bulky.
Have seen the:
Youngman 310898 Odd Job Multi-Purpose Trade Work Platform

on Amazon but is there a preferred make/model.

While I am at it I am wanting to buy a folding trolley, something that I can fold up flat for storage but at the flick of a switch it turns into a sack barrow capable of carrying a ton of coal and folds up into your pocket after use. So far the Stanley one is the favourite.

The one linked is great as a hop up but far too low to comfortably work at.
I've got a tall hop up which makes a nice workbench but a bit too high for working indoors with comfortably requiring 2 steps up.

Like I said, lean down over it. It does my back but that's what we are like! Won't be told it's bad for us. Probably mostly, occasionally always dangerous too.

I’ve got the Costco version of that, folds down Nice n flat, fits in the boot of a car, hardly takes up any space. But it’s flipping rubbish

If your serious about moving stuff don’t waste you spondoolies on this

Well, as the buckets of lead I was struggling with today were 50kg each I have gone for the one Elusive suggested.

So I bought the Youngman platform, it wil be just fine I would think. Was amused by one of the reviews though, these are the exact words: "Not the one in the picture ,not as sturdy , waiting on a return as false advertising,not happy"

And this is alongside his own picture, which is identical in every way to the one shown in the listing on Amazon that he is complaining about. Quite unbelievable.

Well built and I like the locks, makes a good workbench and folds up really flat without the legs sticking out which a lot don’t, so it’s easy to store and easy to transport.

Mine mostly gets used for running the beer round the back. I must find a convenient place to hang it up as it always seems to be in the way and I knock it over. Then I get annoyed with it as the handle extends as you pick it up!

Just a quick follow up and something I was discussing with a friend earlier. I have absolutely no idea how the nice "normal" people get on, this would certainly have been returned. It was a bugger to get apart and the fault was immediately obvious:



Because the hole wouldn't line up the person putting it together just jammed it together. Piecework I suppose.
Apart from that it works just great.

Aye. Mines had far more than 90kg on it. Thankfully my Wacker has fold down wheels.

Handy to have in the van.

Which reminds me. Really need to get new tyres for my big Barrow.

For moving fridges etc around by yourself nothing touches these and a ratchet straps

Huge gravel drive this week and my wheels are knackered
