Might do, depends on the position of the banjo relative to the spindle, the teeth with be the wrong DP but will probably work it is hardly a huge amount of power from a 1/2 or 3/4 HP motor.

The gears, if different pitches, will mesh, but they need a larger gap than normal else they bind. Suspend a couple of gears, one between thumb & middle finger on each hand, and run one round the other, & you can feel the difference in smoothness, between mismatched pitches.

They had nylon or high strength but not standard steel

You cam get gears 3 d printed, but it aint cheap

At the moment I need the gear plate done and then I can woury about gears as they are useless without the gear plate so anyone with a mill or a cnc plasma that would do it I would be very grateful

Gear plate should be sorted courtesy of hood if he isn't using his Chiron tomorrow just the gears left

Did exist being the operative term. The original complete assemblies rarely appear, and command good money when they do. A chap on the Yahoo Drummond list had some castings made, but not sure if he sold them all or not.

The last time I looked a few weeks ago a guy on the has 3 complete reverse tumblers but he won't part with them but he did tell me they fetch between 100-200£ for a original

this one at lathes is an ml2 like i said ml 1-4 can be adapted up to use a ml7 lathe tumble reverse

I've just looked the super 7 gears up they are 20 dp but my btype needs 14dp

I've got the gears they cost me 50£ and 20£ for delivery so you can say I'm not a happy bunny

Which is a funny size as the 13/16 were 14+vat and the 20 was 16+vat it's the postage I was most displeased at I wouldn't have bothered if I hadn't of bought and made so much towards it
