Hi,
This is my first post on this web site, so I will start by saying hi to every one.
I have been welding for about 15 years now, but only on acation.
I have owned many classic cars, which always need sone thing or other.
my welding is quite good, and I have gone from the hobbie type welders, to better units.
I now own a SIP 150, cant remember the model, but it is a blood red colour and is not the cheap ones, it is a few years old now, and the euro tourch could do with a change.
If I make sure the torch cable is stright, it welds a dream.
It has a very good metal strong wire motor and metal rollers.
No comlants there.
Now to my question.
I am thinking of changing it, but I dont want to end up with some thing only just as good, or even worst.
I like the idea of new tecnoligy, and hence like the pulse units.
I dont know much about them.
any one able to recomend a BETTER welder than the one I have got, buget being about the £750 mark.
