110 amps is good for maybe 2mm at a push, you certainly won't do anything thicker unless you prep it well and it's not critical.
Old machines like that were built to last, not like modern budget ones.
Just so you know, the forum search works quite well, thread here that's worth a read.
Don't pay too much for it, you'll probably find it difficult to find parts for it if anything goes wrong.
