Need help with unusual gas connections

I need help with something I thought would be simple, but it's proving to be more difficult than I hoped and it's driving me mental!

I'm a glass lampworker and I've recently bought a Smith's Little Torch for fine detailed work. It's a small torch about the size of a marker pen.

The connectors on the end of the hoses for the propane/oxygen are 9/16-18 female thread. I'm trying to find an adapter that will screw in so I can fit the torch to my 1/4 propane regulator and 1/4 oxygen I can't find a 9/16 - 1/4 adapter anywhere, let alone a left hand, and a right hand thread.
The second thing that seems like it would be readily available to buy but is also rare as rocking horse s#it is a 1/4 splitter for the propane regulator like this:

Does anyone know where I can get:
1x 9/16 male > 1/4 female adapter right hand thread,
1x 9/16 male > 1/4 female adapter left hand thread,
1x propane y splitter 1/4.

Alternatively, should I just chop these American connectors off the hose and fit 1/4 connectors myself? I'm not sure how or if that's possible, I'd rather not blow my workshop up if I can help it.

Any help appreciated.

Your gas regulator connections should be 3/8"BSP, not 1/4", what make are they?

It's a Harris regulator, here's a couple of photos, the first is the torch hoses with 9/16 connectors. And the second is the regulator, does that look like 3/8 or 1/4? The hose is 6mm, not 8mm

Those splitters are available in 3/8" just adapt down from them with some 3/8">1/4" female to male reducers. As for the adaptors, you might need to send away to the torch manufacturer for some nuts and suitable hose tails and crimp them onto the hoses yourself if you can't get the adaptors themselves.

Look like 3/8" to me those; if the Harris regulators are UK sourced they will be, if US they won't.

Cool, so that explains why I've been having a hard time finding the right fittings!

Have a Google for 9/16 UNF. There's lots of adaptors come up. You might have to buy two (e.g. 9/16 to something else and something else to 1/4 BSP). Or find two things with with the correct threads and solder them together.

If you are willing to buy two dies and a set of taps (9/16 UNF RH, 9/16 UNF LH and 1/4 BSP LH), I could make them for you from brass.
