hi all, i need a little help,
i remember years ago (15 ish) my dad used to have a couple of tape measures i think they were draper or stanley but not sure and when you were doing internal measurements with it rather than reading the scale and adding on the length of the body, it displayed it on the top of the measure.
the underside of the tape had a scale printed on it, and a viewing window on the top enabled it to be read.
acording to him it was fairly accurate, and he wore them out or broke them, but everytime we do something he remenises about these tapes and id love to get him one now,
so any ideas.
ive searched google but not a clue what they are called or how best to describe them.
thanks
