What can I do to improve my welds? I'm new to tig and I'm using scratch start method.
Set at about 105a
3/32" 1.5% lanthenated tungsten
1/8" filler rod
I don't know what exactly to look for in a weld... Does it look like a "cold" weld??
Your welding looks good workout and watch other Welders and going well, my look similar, and spawam of the month really. The base is equal to the wire feed up and running. Good Job!
my weld:
I know that's still a lot of work in front of me
Cheers

Looks a little cold at the start and bead hight at the start is a bit high this could just be down to a bit too much filler chilling the pool or the pool not been fluent enough when you started to dip. But I think it's a nice job mate.
