make a heat exchanger in the chimney a guy who has a unit near mind did his with 10mm copper pipe it warms 3 rads in his unit very well its got a header tank and is also pumped works fantasticly well

Did one a few years ago.But in the flu and in 16mm copper pipe. Made a square box above the stove a bit larger than the flu pipe diam. Bolt on front plate with the heating spiral fitted through it. Around a mtr+? of pipe. Storage was 100lt at 2mtr above. Worked a treat for hot showers and kitchen use.

Please be careful connecting heat exchangers to flues, If you are connecting to a conventional flue where the air for combustion is taken from the room,heat is required to remove the products of combustion .
also taking the temperature of the flue down will cause condensation in flue rotting the flue from memory 38'-50'
The zenexenergy looks to be fitted to a flue from a condensing boiler which would have a fan in the boiler

would there be anyone on here who would make a waterjacket for a wood burning stove made from a large gas bottle, approx size needed 10x12x2 with two 22mm fittings in

i live in south shields, and my welding is not upto making a waterfroop tank yet

Never made one myself but aint bad on the welding side if you have materials and need help im happy to oblige gratis of course just keep me supplied with lots of hot beverages in this cold weather we are having, or if your stuck for ideas let me know as two heads are better than one just let me know happy to help. BTW where in shields are you..?

My little log burners flue is way too hot to touch 5' above the stove a coil like that right above it would make no difference especially once the water was boiling.
No it would restrict the flue making it less efficient overall and it would be a mare to fit.
