need a 6.5 socket or similar?

trying to take apart a car radio...6mm is too small , 7mm spins

im guessing its a 6.5 or maybe some monkey size as its an american brand

is there a common english size thats close..cant seem to easily locate a cheap 6.5mm one

1.4 inch is 6.35mm and is also the size they use for all them little bit-driver tools, you know the ones where you have a load of small inter-changable screwdriver/allen/torx bits and one tool to hold them, usually with a magnet.

I scrolled down wondering why no one said you want a 6.35mm or a hex drive screwdriver, pete beat me to it..
Course I could point out 1.4 inches is ~35.5mm;-)

coz there are too many imperial sizes to be meaningful......BA, AF, whitworth,,......just find something to fit & dooooo it

for a one off pliers or adjustable.....
