Narrow kitchen units

I'm trying to sort out a replacement kitchen, its a walk through kitchen, units each side. Current work tops are 530mm wide, the units therefore circa 500mm front to back inc doors.

I'm trying to find a decent company to supply, for me to fit but the narrow base/wall units seem to be an issue. Are they reasonably typical/available??

Workstops will just need cutting down from standard 635mm wide tops?

its a slim line range your looking for note slimline drop to 460mm deep but you also fit a back onto them so it makes 470mm depth for a breakfast bar

also includes center breakfast bar cupboards as well

wall units, wrk just as well on the floor as up on the wall. some draws fit as well without having to be cut down, we have some in our kitchen.

This may sound pedantic but searching for shallow units may help. I read narrow as meaning less wide, not less deep.

A change of terminology helps, thank you! A lot don't seem to do the shallow/reduced depth units, or at least ony offer a small range - Every base unit, drawer unit and wall unit I require all need to be shallow.

I was hoping Howdens did them, but can anyone recommend? A fancy online design thing would be good, but not essential. I can draw it out if needed, or ask them if they will design it for me.

I just need a supplier who gives a decent service and decent range

I could, but then i'd have to recut the slot for the back board which is going to cause me a tonne of extra work if something is available off the shelf

A circular saw or table saw set to depth would have a rebate cut, as fast as cutting them down

Some have deeper plumbing voids than others, just cut off up to the back panel leaving enough to hold the panel in.

This. Did that to a couple of units for someone ages ago. Hack it off with a circ saw and run a router along to make the new groove for the back. Doesn't take long if they're flat pack units already.

It will, but not that much if you have a table saw. I mean it's one set of the fence to trim all the sides, one to do the slot for the hardboard back, and then maybe one to do the shelves.

It seems like work but it would actually be really quick.

Half hour fella. Just make sure you have any showing edges on top to stop break out.
