I've just replaced four very similar switches on two items with simple non latching push switches. Much more mechanically satisfying, although taking up more room. And I guess, for your application, much less water resistant - musy be some out there though?

Just ran wires from the PCB to where I mounted the switch - left the non working switches in place

Measure it. Most are 6mm or 12mm square, although I'm sure there are other sizes too. You also need to know how far the centre part projects.
