It is indeed a Picador. Well done that man. It says Picador Fig 140 Velomont now I have it in my hands, Google has never heard of it. The clamps are nice too Bauer 450/2B.

The other kids used to laugh at me for reading old tool catalogues instead of comics...

Well I've stripped it cleaned it and the guide rails are soaking in a bucket of citric.

Nice bit of kit as it turns out. Now turns smoothly, no binding up.

I should either find a use for it or let it go I guess.
