These came from a friend of my sister-in-laws along with lots of box spanners etc
After a bit of a net trawl the chromed pliers are apparently for edging sheet metal but I've no idea what the scissor things are.
Anyone recognise them?

That's what hey are, coal tongues.

The tongs look very like the tool you use to dip bisque pottery in glaze before firing.

At Wedgewood, they still use them.. They are colour coded for the different glaze.

The factory tour is worth it.
