Myford lever collect chuck

My super 7 came with a myford lever operated collect chuck, but no collets.

99% of the time I just use the lathe to machine down the heads of stainless m6 bolts / hex headed set screws. If I purchased a 6mm collet for the chuck would this grip the setscrews okay?

If so what type of collets does it take? Myfords own type?

If you can get a blank/plain soft steel collet(or make one?) you could drill and tap it M6 and it would fit like a glove. RDG or similar may be able to supply.
