my wifes first project

Hi

Having just purchased a plasma cutter and no where for it to live I thought about fitting it onto a joint trolley with my mma set, along with a long lead to a 15a socket on the trolley so i plug in either welder or cutter as needed, only problem was busy on another project, so as my wife kept asking what she could do, I set her the job, here's the result.

Careful, or you may end up doing cooking / cleaning while wife does all the welding projects

Ha ha, no mate we work together in the shop when the kids are at school, and kind of share the domestic stuff as well.

Good job. She looks well pleased with it. I spy a MIG, a Plasma cutter and -- I guess -- an arc set underneath.

Fingers you are right, its an sip180 arc set, I had a old topweld 140 for the last 25 years, I melted it last year so upgraded to the 180.
The mig am not sure exactly (too much muck on it to see the number) it an siparound 120 - 150 i think, not too sure but supposed to do 6mm max, but usually only do thin stuff with it.
The cutter, yeeeaaaah my new toy, its a cut 40 one of the cheap by comparison, imports, but it does the job. I have used gas in the past for profiling but this is amazing.
