Hi all
After some pointers as a novice.
Was up at the welding course in Lackham last night and was practicing welds and ended up with this. Meet Clive
Here's some of the welds holding him together, it was done with a MIG, I think they are about 180 amp ones there
I can see that the welds seem elongated, does this mean I am going too fast in those areas? I know I still needs lots of practice but am reasonably happy with it, he got a good pulling prodding and smaking with a hammer and he's still together and no cracking or anything.
Thanks for any pointers
