Yes the grease points will stay.even thoe the mechanism only pivots a small amount. It will stop any binding provide they are not over tightened. Will use castle nuts and pin on the finished shoots.I was thinking of making an identical plate with an aluminium frame and packing it with fire resistant fibre of some sort.the frame will be sandwiched between the front and rear of the shoot.
That is a Clarke 200. Apparently almost unbreakable. But I have made it flex.
All the tarmac lorries are all insulated aluminium to keep weight down. But alloy ain't to good for retaining heat...and there is a lot of heat lost through the shoots.any form of insulation would be a benefit. I did make a heated floor years ago on my farthers lorry. But health and safty on site works is a joke as we all know.
Yes they do have a split tailgate. My lorry is insulated. ..my quest is to put right all the mistakes made over the years with other fabricated tailgate and chutes. I have dyslexia so my spelling is somtimes wrong.so I try and spell it with what words I can understand as they are jumbled up when I look at them..
I get frustrated because I try to explain things but Its difficult putting them in to words that I can write and people can understand lol...all good thoe and thanks..Don't worry about your spelling Spence, it's probably better then mine!
