hey up all
i have a reclining massaging chair, it's the most comfy chair that i've ever had, it's a rocker too
, anyhow, one of the hinges broke a couple of weeks ago, probably due to me putting on over two stones since i stopped smoking
i got it cramped back together and tried welding it with my stick welder (1.6 6013 rods)- biiiig mistake, i ended up chasing a hole all over the flippin' place so i got out my untrustworthy sip (had prob's with the feed in the past)
i had to set it up for .8mm flux cored wire, i put a .8mm tip in and got going, now i don't know why it was running so well but can only think that the extra .2mm gave the pinch roller a bit more to grip....
anyhow, i now have my most fave chair back in action and not in a dumpster

john
ps, it don't look pretty though with the mess i made with the inverter
