My old FJR winter service and more.

Need to give the old girl some love...starting with rear shock rebuild, rear linkage service (new needle and bush kit), powder coat the main and side stand, more stuff to do but this will keep me going for a week or so.

Due to all the rain recently i have thrown a few more hours at the mongrel...all bearings done on the rear linkage, thought i would have a play with the zorst. 4 into 1 for the FJR are unobtainable anywhere on the planet so i made my own with a "mad max" twist. cut the left section of collector and removed the internal cats while i was in there, welded a plate to direct the gasses into one pipe,then gave it a road warrior look with the can being upswept i think it looks wicked and yet to start it as i need to refit rad etc...next job onto the wheels for a paint refurb.

I don't doubt it, I've a beam follower, but not the 7m RSJ, priced at 400 squid ouch.

Scrap yards around here are full of them..£10-£15 per meter for RSJ around 7" to 9"
