My New Welder

I bought a Clarke 150EN off ebay yesterday - £60 including a newish set of gauntlets, Solar powered mask , big bottle regulator with hoses and a new reel or wire (small). It is pretty old and grotty looking but am told it works well .

I have a couple of questions - willl pub qas be ok for welding car repairs or should I go for argoshield? Secondly is it worth converting to a Eurotorch connection

Pub gas (CO2) will be OK, it will be harder to weld thin metal as it burns hotter than Ar mix, a Eurotorch conversion will cost more than you paid for the welder.
