My new TIG

Hello,

Here are some photos of my new TIG welder.
So this is a 200 amps AC / DC with pulse function

A quick test with no problems.
Having tig welded, it is still necessary to find the right settings.
A photo of a tube of 1.5 with good penetration, but standing in the tube and clamps, without support and without being "hand" welding is not very nice.

The bottle, it is a 4.7 m³

Yes, it's vitually the same (by appearance) as the RTech machine, but there are a few detail differences around hose terminations and perhaps the remote plug too.

Looks like you got enough consumables to last a lifetime.

On the subject of R-Tech, I've been giving my machine (TIG AC161) hobby use the past few months, mainly on 3mm steel, but some 1mm and even 0.5mm steel tube the other day, as well as ally stuff, only issue I'd had was a sticky gas valve and the tech services chap was a) instantly available on the telephone and gave me 3 choices in how I wanted to deal with it, very flexible and helpful I found.

I was thinking the same, If I said I've broken 5 shrouds in 7yrs, that would be an exaggeration

Vince - if I leave you my address, can you post me some cosumables that you'll never get round to using?

(Just a joke before you reach for the stamps and envelops...!)

Bet I go and break a shroud and destroy a tungsten tomorrow now.

Thank you for your comments, so the welder has to LCDvision.
In terms of consumables (purchased separately) I think I have enough actually: p
Indeed it is the same welder as in R-tech (but do not entirely the same as in TIGMIG).
After a few tests on steel and aluminum, I have the ideal settings.
Do you have a picture or something else?
(And if anyone has the same type of welder to explain to me the settings)

What you mean with the "(but do not entirely the same as in TIGMIG)".Is it any good your welder?It seem no one from the forum has purchase any of them.I contact direct LCDVISION to ask info about their Welders and to be honest it is kind of a nightmare to approach them.R-tech is extremely different story.I contact Dylan from R-Tech and he reply to straigh away. LCDVision want to do business internationally with basic knowledge of English.Caroline came back yesterday to me after a week.
I am really concern if something goes wrong if they will be able to short out the issue.Hope I am wrong.
